Kairogen has been immersed in Glasgow's electronic music scene for years, first absorbing it from behind the scenes at Sub Club before stepping up to DJ herself. A resident at La Cheetah Club and founder of Kairoscapes, she's shared the booth there with artists including Anz and Call Super.

She's also put in countless warm-up sets at Sub Club, most notably for Slam's Return to Mono and Subculture, and has gone on to headline both nights in her own right - as well as handing over to names like Avalon Emerson, Dax J, Perc, and Blasha & Allat along the way. Her sets have taken her across the UK and to festivals with appearances at Kelburn Garden Party, Terminal V, Riverside Festival and Craigie Knowes Natura.

Music has run through her life since childhood - classically trained on violin, with early years spent in orchestra shaping her ear long before she delved into the world of electronic music.

That grounding, alongside an art school background scoring her own paintings and installations, gave her an instinct for atmosphere and narrative that's carried straight into her DJing and production; she went on to learn further at Petrichor's Subsine Academy. She moves fluidly across house, techno, electro and beyond, always experimenting and pulling from every genre she touches, but weaving it all into a sound that's distinctly her own: textural, hypnotic, emotive. 

She also co-hosts the Dub Series on Radio Buena Vida with Danny Greenman - a show originally founded with the late Niamh Jobson, which has since picked up a Resident Advisor Mix of the Day. Her productions have found homes on Soma and Space Textures, and to date have leaned into ambient and deep techno, favouring slow-building atmosphere over instant impact.

Above all, Kairogen treats DJing as a space to play with people's emotions, shaped by her own experience of listening to music and a belief in storytelling across a set. Whatever the room, her focus stays the same - trying to find what fits, and taking people somewhere.
